CSR Generation Guide
A CSR tells the certificate authority which domain and key should be certified.
Before you start
Use the server or hosting panel where the certificate will be installed. Keep the private key private and never upload it to support tickets.
Generate the CSR
Create a CSR with the exact common name you want protected. For wildcard SSL, use a name like *.example.com.
Submit to CertoraSSL
Paste the CSR during checkout or upload it later from the order dashboard.
